The large tidal fed estuary system of Bolgoda is just less an hour’s drive from Colombo making this an ideal fishing day trip for anglers in Colombo.

The elusive Wild Golden Barramundi, the prime target, the feisty Mangrove Jack along with many other species combine with the beautiful mangrove environs of the lake to make this a unique fishing experience.

Our 16 foot bass boats are the ideal luring and fly casting platform. With their open decks, they are suitable for 2 anglers + the guide. Powered with a 40hp Yamaha outboard engine, these boats are perfect for fishing the shallow backwater systems and get you quickly on the best fishing spots. 

Bolgoda Lake fishing season is all year.

We have two boats that can fish a group of 4 casting anglers.

We offer half day (from 7 am to 12 pm) and full day fishing (from 7 am to 5 pm with a lunch break from 12 pm to 2 pm in a nice Villa on the lake).

We provide fishing tackle and cold drinks onboard.
